The Year of the Scarf

This was my second year trying to make all my holiday gifts. This year I also rediscovered crocheting. And helped to spread the joy of this craft.

It felt so fine to create for all these people that I love while also weaving a little bit of the past into each and every piece.

All season I kept referring to this as the year of the scarf and I love to think that all the joyful work I wove is out there snuggling my lovlies, hugging them tight and keeping them warm.

It was also the year of spaghetti and meatballs for Autumn’s new play kitchen.  With sauce or without.

I must rest my hands now.
